In addition to the other suggestions, I would go to this website, read some of the stuff there, and buy him the book: http://www.diabetesimprovement.com/
And tell him Mr. Peachy庐 feels much better after following the suggestions and losing 50 pounds. My husband is diabetic, he is having dizzy spells, joint pain, fatigue, any advice on what to do?
I'm diabetic, and here are some things that I found out...
Oatmeal - It helps lower colestral.
Applecyder Vinagar - drink after each meal, it helps the fats in the food pass through the digestive system. They also have applecyder pills now too, so you don't have to taste it.
Hot Peppers %26amp; Hot Sause - boosts the emune system. Helps get rid of colds, infections, and headaches.
Hope this helps,...wish the best.
Lightheadedness happens when there is not enough blood getting to the brain. This can happen if there is a sudden drop in your blood pressure or you are dehydrated from vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or other causes. Many people, especially as they get older, experience lightheadedness if they get up too quickly from a lying or seated position. Lightheadedness often accompanies the flu, hypoglycemia, common cold, or allergies.
Complete medical checkup is required to detect the underlying cause of the symptoms. Since your husband is a diabetic patient, the case has to be considered seriously to avoid stroke, heart attack etc.
Please see the web pages for more details on Dizziness.
Why isn't he at the doctor? Your physician is the best person to treat him, not anyone on this forum. Dizzy spells should be treated immediately!!! Call now!!!!
See a doctor right away!
The best thing for him is see a doctor. He could have heart trouble.
