Ttc, advice for husband...?

my husband and i have been ttc for about 10 months now. i have gone to the doctor, im using clomid, and everything I know to do as a woman...

What are some things my husband can do to help? Are there some ';male pre-natal'; pills or something (I'm taking folic acid, etc, as well) or anything he can do to help his ';boys'; swim better or something??Ttc, advice for husband...?
He needs to live a healthy life -no alcohol or smoking or drug use (even otc or prescription meds can interfere with conception), eat healthy and limit caffiene. He needs to take a men's one a day complete multivitamin. My dr recommended my hubby do that. He needs to be active and exercise but not too much. He needs to avoid anything that will cause excessive heat down there like bicycling, running, briefs, or hot tubs. Has he had a sperm analysis? I would hope your doctor did that first before putting you on meds you may not need if the problem is with your husband. If he hasn't had this done definately do it. He also needs to avoid stress.

I read it takes most couples a year to conceive because you only have about a 25% each cycle with well timed intercourse. It takes time.

Best wishes and stay positive!!!Ttc, advice for husband...?
besides avoid smoking and drinking and ALSO eat healty

i've heard that men who wear boxers have better chance that briefs

it took us around 6months as well, and he's wearing boxers =]
Has he been tested yet? That is the first thing he can do. Other than that, you can go to GNC or online and get FertilityBlend for men. It is an herbal supplement that is supposed to help. Also, he can avoid hot tubs and tight fitting clothing. I've also heard that if he takes a really cold bath right before intercourse it gets his little swimmers swimming a little faster :o) Good luck!
Avoid alcohol, smoking, hot tubs and bike rides. In addition, he should make sure he's eating a well rounded diet. If you don't eat very healthy, he could take just a multi-vitamin. If his overall health is up, then the sperm will be healthier as a result.
Zinc, vitamin E, B12, Folate, vit C, Vit A

Calcium, Selenium, Bee pollen, Pumpkin seed,Siberian ginsing

Avoid smoking, alcohol, hot temps (hot tub, saunas etc)
Has a sperm count been done for him? If his swimmers are fine there is really nothing much he can do other than to stay healthy by eating right, not smoking and drinking a lot and as weird as it sounds, not wear to tight underwear and pants. Sperm is produced in his testicles outside of the body because the sperm doesn't do very well for long times at regular body temperature.

We were trying for a little over a year when we got our positive and it seemed to help that hubby ditched his undies completely, lol!

Good luck and best wishes to you both!
