Need advice. My husband is from Muslim country,and me from UK. Lately the difference has been really notable.?

Our expectations of each other are so different. I expect him to help with our baby son and with the housework. He thinks he does loads, but doesn't. He has been spoilt to death by his mother, and he thinks little tiny chores once a week amount to major help. I don't want sex any more. I am so depressed all the time. He isn't working yet does little to help out. I work and do everything else. I don't know what to do. I just don't feel the same any more, but don't want to hurt him. He is such hard work now. Muslim or not...you shouldnt judge people by race, ethnicity etc. There may be a cultural drift..but the thing driving you two apart is lack of communication. When he is in a nice mood , sit down maybe even get him a drink and talk to him about what you really want from him.


Tell him in a non judgmental way that taking care of a baby with so much housework is very tiring and you would love some help from him. Explain exactly what you would like him to do. Dont be vague.
