7 months pregnant husband distant advice please?

1st baby due 3 march and I am feeling very down. Don't know how much is due to hormones and various difficilties(pain, diabetes, contractions) or to feeling downright lonely. It is a difficult time as hubby has been away to helpvery special aunt who has cancer. He always takes( me too although it drives me mad) family responsibilities on his shoulders and says he doesn't know how he will deal with a baby: he always panics before life changing events - same about wedding, work. I know it is difficult but I just feel like crying as there is no enthusiasm just cold he is still at least very attentive should i have the minimum health problem but really doesnt want to talk about it very much and surely we are his family now. How can i deal with this? Thanks so much7 months pregnant husband distant advice please?
just try to stay upbeat , i know it is easier said than done . you'll be fine once you hold your new baby. go for walks(short walks) or hang out with a close friend or relative .don't worry this time will pass and you two will be happy.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!7 months pregnant husband distant advice please?
It sounds like he really cares, he just doesn't show it well. My DH and I had a little trouble with this until I had a very heartfelt talk with him. I basically told him that I can't read his mind and he has to tell me that he loves me or is excited about things in our lives, etc or I think he just doesn't care. It helped him to realize that not expressing his feelings really did kind of hurt me sometimes and he really made an effort to change. Now he is much more expressive of his positive feelings too and it helps a lot. Just try talking when you have a quiet moment and you aren't upset with each other.

Also, try to remember that he takes his family responsibility very seriously, so once your baby comes, I bet he will feel the same loyalty and strong attatchment to the baby too. Sometimes it doesn't feel real to men till they hold and see their babies.
